Commercial Money Movement Solutions (CMS)  division’s charter is to capture new sources of money movement through card and non-card flows, including Visa Business Solutions, Government Solutions and Visa Direct which presents an enormous growth opportunity. B2B Payables & Acceptance is part of Visa Business Solutions vertical of Visa’s Technology organization. We are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Virtual Cards, payables, and acceptance commercial platforms to drive incremental revenue. We develop new offerings/products and enhance existing Visa Business Solutions product lines including Commercial data processing, B2B payables platforms. We are looking for Client Success Engineers with Strong Engineering development experiences to join our B2B payables team as Sr SW Engineer (Analyst) based in Atlanta, GA.

Essential Functions

  • Develop enhancements and modifications to existing software and develops extensible code that complies with design specifications and meets security best practices.
  • Implements automation to improve effectiveness and efficiencies of systems and tools and supports development and implementation of new automation.
  • Engages with product engineering teams and product owners  during code/design reviews, regular meetings, on-call rotations, and incident responses throughout product development and operations cycles.
  • Leverages advanced knowledge of systems/platforms and telemetry analyses to propose isolated improvements in code, processes, and designs to more effectively deliver on customer/business objectives.

The Skills you Bring

  • As a Client Success Software Engineer troubleshoot and develop technical solutions related to internally identified or client reported error incidents.
  • Attempt to duplicate problems and define root causes, using product design, code or specifications.
  • Develop production code fixes.
  • Create workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensure issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science, Information Systems or related field OR
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science, Information Systems or related field AND minimum two (2) years of experience in a directly related field OR
  • Minimum five (5) years of directly related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Must be technically capable and a self-starter with strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Java programming
  • Hands on knowledge of Spring, Hibernate and RDBMS technologies
  • Experience with web service standards and related patterns (REST, JSON)
  • Experience with Agile development incorporating TDD, CI/CD, utilizing technologies such as Git, Maven and Jenkins
  • Experience in debugging and troubleshooting in Linux/Unix/Container bases application servers such as Tomcat, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices environment, Kafka is plus.
  • Resolve incidents and perform optimizations
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 96,600.00 to 123,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
