We are currently interviewing Occupational Therapists who are interested in joining our team and working in one of our partner schools in Washington, DC In this position, you'll be dedicated to a full-time caseload supporting students in the early childhood setting. Our website: www.AnthroMed.education When you join AnthroMed Education, you have the choice to have a salaried or hourly pay structure with 100% free United Healthcare health insurance premiums, 401K with employer match, competitive PTO, and all school holidays and breaks paid in FULL Consider joining our dynamic team that truly cares about your professional growth and the educational achievement of your students Occupational Therapist Job Description: Complete evaluations to assess occupational needs and areas of growth Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to high school students with significant cognitive/intellectual disabilities Assist case managers with developing student Individualized Education Plans (IEP) Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and classroom teachers to meet the students’ occupational therapy needs Use play-based and activity-based interventions to engage students in meaningful activities Observe elementary and high school students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans Occupational Therapist Requirements: Possession of a valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist as issued by the Delaware Department of Health Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Experience working in pediatrics and/or schools is preferred At AnthroMed Education, we are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to creating an inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated.
