Description
The City of La Crosse is seeking to hire temporary laborers in the Sewer Department. The purpose of the Sewer Department is to help protect public health and the environment by providing high-quality regional wastewater treatment services in an effective, efficient, and responsive manner. These positions will support the Sewer Department by cleaning catch basins/sewer collection systems, opening manholes and light construction/GIS stormwater work.
Working hours are M-F from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Positions to start May 2024 and continue through August 2024. Positions may work through December 2024 if applicant is available. Hourly wage is $18.00. Position is limited term and does not acquire benefits.
