Neos is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for a long-term contract with our client in Austin, TX.

Perform complex and advanced software activities for projects. This individual will serve as Technology Lead responsible for systems analysis, specifications development, and testing of system interfaces between several business applications. Knowledge of API development services SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON for date exchange. Work with software engineering tools such as Git, JIRA, Confluence, etc. Plan and lead meetings. Work closely with project team. Provide technical assistance to Projects Managers by documenting plans, schedules, status reports, and/or change requests. Provide detailed updates to project managers or other stakeholders.

Performs other duties as assigned to maintain IT operations.

Skill in solving problems; in scheduling, testing, installing, and implementing programs; and in trouble shooting computer software systems

Strong written and verbal communication skills to serve as a technical consultant to peers, clearly and accurately document relevant issues, and prepare accurate, concise, reliable reports

Experience with integrating web services across cloud platforms, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Github, and PaaS environments. Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools for data integration

SQL Programming including familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB no SQL, Sybase, Oracle PL/SQL, and Azure SQL managed instances for database technology management
