Role Summary:

As a 1st Shift Senior Lead, you will be responsible for reviewing receipt of all materials to ensure purchase orders are open and the quality of materials received are correct. The schedule for this role is Monday through Thursday 5:45am-4:15pm. Additional overtime may be required.

Role Description:

  • Leads all processing of incoming transfers on a daily basis.
  • Operate the Automated Fulfillment System and other supporting systems.
  • Coordinates the transfer process, including assignment of stations, issuance of incoming cartons, confirmation of counts, inspection of material, etc.
  • Maintains efficient and orderly usage of supplies in the transfer area.
  • Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure timely replenishment of materials.
  • Motivates the associates to achieve and exceed productivity and quality standards.
  • Performs activities of workers supervised as required to meet urgent timelines.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Key Qualifications:
  • Some post-high school education is desired. High School graduate required. 5-10 years of experience in retail, wholesale, or direct-to-consumer operations.
  • Team building and leadership skills
  • Possess articulate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate supporting systems as required.
  • Exceeds all KPI (Quality, Productivity, and Financial performance indicators) metrics for the Saks Direct Fulfillment operation.
  • Ability to work weekend shifts.
  • The incumbent is required to possess sustainable physical requirements including but not limited to standing for long periods of time (up to 10 hours), lifting up to 30 lbs. repeatedly, walking long distances repeatedly, bending, stooping, climbing ladders or stairs repeatedly, and manual dexterity of hands to process orders, push or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of a major WMS package and automated fulfillment equipment.
