Part-Time Bilingual Clinician

Catholic Social Services (CSS) in partnership with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has an opening in a program that provides foster care, treatment and educational services to assist unaccompanied children entering the United States. The agency offers paid vacation, sick time, a generous holiday schedule and medical benefits for staff in a 20+hr/week position.

The part-time Clinician will work up to 21 hours (3 days) per week (negotiable) to support clinical team in order to meet program's clinical requirements. While the hours are primarily between 8:30am-4:30pm M-F, the schedule can vary and the successful candidate will be able to work flexible hours when needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide intake risk assessments within 72 hours of clients being admitted into the program.
  • Screen for trafficking or other concerns and make referrals as needed.
  • Provide a minimum of weekly individual counseling sessions.
  • Provide twice weekly group therapy sessions with all clients in the program.
  • Provide clinical supervisor with regular updates on each client's progress.
  • Participate in weekly individual and group supervision.
  • Attend required trainings.

Essential Qualifications:

  • MSW or MA in counseling.
  • Must be licensed or license eligible (license preferred).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Ability to be flexible, creative and work in a diverse setting.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity.
