The State of Vermont Enterprise Project Management Office seeks a qualified IT Project Manager to join the EPMO5 team, which supports implementation of IT modernization efforts at multiple agencies in State government. Agencies supported include the Agency of Transportation, Department of Public Safety, Agency of Natural Resources, Agency of Commerce and Community Development, and Department of Liquor and Lottery among others.
To support the Department of Public Safety, this position requires completion a Criminal History Conviction Declaration. Please note: the disclosure of criminal conviction does not automatically disqualify the finalist.
In order for ADS personnel to provide the most value to the State they may be assigned tasks whereby they have access to sensitive and confidential information, including criminal justice information. As such, the chosen candidate must complete and pass a fingerprint-supported background check through the Vermont Crime Information Center for compliance with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security policy as a condition of employment. Certain projects with the Department of Public Safety may also require staff to take and pass applicable CJIS training.

Environmental Factors
Work is performed in a standard office setting, but some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available. Work outside of regular business hours may be expected.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Public Administration, Information Technology or a related field OR Certification as a Project Manager Professional (PMP) and Three (3) years or more of experience in the field of information technology where the primary role was project manager.
OR
Five (5) years or more of experience in the field of information technology where the primary role was project manager.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in business administration, public administration, information technology or project management.
