General Job Description

The Mechanical/ Electric Engineer is responsible for Evaluating, Conceptualizing, Designing, and Implementing Machines and Processes to Extend Machinery Life and Reduce Machinery Downtime.

Total Quality management is a joint effort of management and associates in order to exceed customer satisfaction levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Breakdowns for Root Cause Failure.
  • Design and Implement Solutions for Root Cause Failures.
  • Design and Implement PM Procedures to eliminate Machinery Failures.
  • Evaluate and Upgrade Current Maintenance PM Program.
  • Offer Technical Expertise to Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians.
  • Work with Contractors on Mechanical Projects.
  • Perform and Supervise Maintenance Mechanical Projects and Repairs.
  • Reduction of Utility Costs by PM implementation and Mechanical Repairs.
  • Perform Equipment and Process Troubleshooting to Resolve Issues.
  • Provide Input for the Maintenance Budget.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or Related Field.
  • 2-5 years’ Experience Working in an Engineering Field.
  • Experience using CAD Software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, or similar.

Preferred/Desired:

  • Knowledge of Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and other Mechanical Engineering Concepts.
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controller handling (Mitsubishi Q series).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional Technical and Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Ability to Communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Boiler, Steam, Air Compressor, and other Utility Background.
  • Have a strong desire for personal and professional development
