Responsibilities of the Interim Controller:

  • Process payroll & calculate commissions
  • Perform the month-end close.
  • Analyze & reconcile the General Ledger and bank statements.
  • Oversee AR and AP processes.
  • Supervise 1 direct report.
  • Maintain financial software as needed.
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Credit report retrieval and review for
  • Contract review on ad-hoc basis.
  • Create cash flow projections and ad-hoc reporting for the President and CFO as needed.
  • Monitor and conduct internal audits and maximize return on financial assets.
  • Assist with 401k audits and benefit consensus.

Preferred Experience of Controller:

  • Experience with QuickBooks required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
  • Inventory management & expense reporting software experience.
