Our Ocala location offers extended hours Monday - Friday, open from 7am-6pm and now Saturdays, from 9am-3pm. As a Full-Time Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner colleague, you will enjoy a schedule that offers flexibility as needed, for you to tend to personal appointments during normal business hours. Team Ocala is comprised of multiple Physician, PA-C and NP colleagues, generally 4 to 5 clinical team members on shift together, for the majority of each weekday. Our new team member will ideally commit to a Monday - Friday schedule, however, a 4 day work week (80% full time) may also be considered upon request. Our new team member will most frequently work on the 9am-6pm shift during the week, however, on occasion, you may be requested to switch shifts with other colleagues. We are team-oriented and want to provide all colleagues with the flexibility to occasionally start or end their regular shifts early, to attend personal appointments, etc. Alternate shift times may occasionally include: 7:00am-4pm 7:30am-4:30pm 9am-6pm Please note, we work as a team, and on occasion, you may be asked to switch a weekday shift for a Saturday shift. Scheduling is completed in advance, so you may plan ahead for work and home-life. Full Time colleagues enjoy a Flexible Paid Time Off Package inclusive of: 6 paid holidays annually 5 paid CME days annually 6 paid extended illness days annually (with rollover if unused) 18 paid vacation days annually (with rollover if unused) - note, vacation accruals increase with tenure, upwards to 6 weeks per year based on length of service. Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests. Compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination. Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal. Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection. Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance. Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care. Assists in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care. Assists in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs. Provides excellent customer service to all patients, clients and peers while incorporating Orange Book values. Dedicated to exceeding customer and patient expectations as measured by NPER/NPS/TATs. Ensures accuracy when completing and executing tasks and performing quality assurance checks. Ensures accurate, concise, timely and complete documentation of results and paperwork. Provides an excellent, compassionate and warm patient experience regardless of patient volume.
