Day-to-Day as our Quality Technician:
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to understand the required dimensions, tolerances, and specifications for each project.
- Perform detailed inspections of structural steel components and assemblies to verify dimension accuracy.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to measure dimensions and other specifications of fabricated components.
- Identify, document, and report any deviations from quality standards of customer specifications to the appropriate departments.
- Work closely with other team members, including engineers and project managers, to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
- 3+ years of quality control experience in a structural steel-based or metal fabrication environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with dimensions and blueprint reading.
- An understanding of welding processes is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
- Comfortable working in various production environments.
Day Shift 5am-2:30pm M-F | $23-$26 p/hr
