Position: Physical Therapy Specialist

Location: Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fredericksburg, Fredericksburg, VA

PRN: $60.00/hour

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Deliver physical therapy treatment and care in accordance with regulations and professional standards.
• Supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians while delegating tasks effectively.
• Maintain continuous communication with hospital departments to meet the needs of patients and staff.
• Encourage patients to regain independence and control of their lives.
• Foster a patient-centered treatment environment to ensure safety and support.

Required Credentials:

• Active state licensure or certification required by your first day of employment.
• CPR certification preferred based on hospital policy.
• Completion of an accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree, along with relevant field experience.
• Proven skills in physical therapy evaluation, planning, and treatment.
• Strong communication skills essential for patient and family interactions.
