Pharmacist

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacist:
to fill an opening with a prestigious Healthcare companyin Tucson, AZ area.

Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacist:

  • Reviews physician medication orders to ensure the suitability of the drug, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration. Suggests therapy modifications to physicians and facility staff as necessary.
  • Maintains a patient/resident database, including comprehensive current and past medical history, relevant clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medications (including over-the-counter drugs and home remedies).
  • Ensures the appropriate laboratory tests for monitoring high-risk conditions are ordered, assessed, and discussed with relevant healthcare team members.

Required Qualifications for Pharmacist:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Clear and Active Pharmacist license in the state of position
  • Experience with compounding infused drugs
  • Experience filling IV Medications
  • 1+ year of experience as a Pharmacist

Preferred Qualifications for Pharmacist:
  • 1-5 years of experience as a Pharmacist
  • Experience packing IV meds
  • LTC and Retail experience
