Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
 
  • Provide primary health care services to individuals within the P.A.C’s scope of practice and licensure
  • Provide patient-related information needed for such business operations as billing and necessary reports
  • Document service delivery expectations and processes through progress notes
  • Interpret health data and develop treatment plans (i.e.: medication, nutrition, exercise, counseling, emotional support, consultation, collaboration, and referrals)
  • Monitor patients, evaluate outcomes, and when necessary modify plans
  • Assist in the review of the clinic’s annual Health Care Plan, Quality Assurance Plan, and Clinical Section of the CHC Business Plan
  • Provide input to the Clinic Administrator relating to the clinic activities budget and staffing and equipment needs projections
  • Meet and maintain eligibility requirements for certification by the professional credentialing organization
  • Ability to communicate in a tactful, diplomatic, and professional manner
  • Attend regular meetings of providers and staff
  • Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity to cultural issues and community practices of children and families in CC Idaho’s client base
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines and remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Maintain standards of confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards
  • Perform all work duties and activities in compliance with CC Idaho,  Joint Commission, OSHA and HIPAA regulations
 
 
Qualifications                                                

     Required
  • Must be certified as a Physician Assistant, licensed in the State of Idaho
  • Ability to provide quality medical care with little or no supervision while facilitating a smooth patient flow in a busy medical practice environment
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in both English/Spanish in a business setting
  • Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance
  • Ability to frequently travel to outreach sites
  • Must pass a background check
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Evidence of no communicable disease
 
     Preferred
  • 1 – 2 years health related experience
