Diagnostic Ultrasound Tech I (Ob/Gyn Ultrasound - Conroe) Conroe, Texas, United States Allied Health UTMB Health Requisition # 2403060 JOB DESCRIPTION The Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist I position works independently to complete a variety of routine diagnostic ultrasound procedures to include common and special ultrasound exams of moderate complexity. This position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special ultrasound procedures. The Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist I position delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to ultrasound exam standards and guidelines established by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service. This position is a member of the direct patient care team. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications: • Associates of Applied Science • Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited ultrasound program • 0+ years of experience LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONS • American Heart Association (BLS) Any one of the following credentials: • American Registry for Radiology Technologist (ARRT-VS) • American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography (RDMS-OB/GYN) • American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography (RDMS- AB) • American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography (RDMS-RVT American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography (RDMS-PS) • American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography (RDMS-MSKS) • American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography (RDMS- BR Preferred: Experience in OB or MFM and OB/GYN ARDMS registry Shift: No nights, weekends or call.
