The position can be based at either our South Hackensack, NJ or Chester, NJ office. Due to continued growth, Boswell Engineering is seeking an additional Water/ Wastewater Sr. Design Engineer for our Environmental Engineering Department which is responsible for the design of water/ wastewater conveyance and treatment improvement systems, environmental studies and modeling. We need another dynamic, goal-oriented, and motivated Engineer who wants to expand their design and engineering skills in Water treatment inspection, design, treatment, engineering & construction. Responsibilities: Prepare day-to-day paperwork necessary to see projects through from beginning to end Complete assignments on a schedule and within the project budgets Create and recommend water and wastewater treatment and improvement designs Have a passion for continued learning to keep abreast of the changing State and Federal regulations Desire to be exposed to a wide variety of engineering challenges Strong attention to detail Strong verbal and written skills Ability to work independently Manage time efficiently Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 4+ years of relevant work experience of water treatment/ improvement Design Experience using a variety of tools/ software(If you are strong in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Civil, we’ll train you on many more tools) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional Engineering license(s) highly desired & supported (PE and/ or EIT/ FE Certification) Experience in the following: Design of water/sanitary sewer conveyance systems Wastewater treatment plant design Water treatment design Well redevelopment Hydraulic Modeling We recognize that the best way to provide services of the highest quality is by investing in our employees.
