What You Will Do: Under the supervision of a registered (RDMS) sonographer, produces high quality ultrasounds on patients of all ages. Demonstrates knowledge and familiarity of cross-sectional anatomy and operating Ultrasound systems, PACS, and other computer software according to established procedures. Upon completion of internship, staff member should be able to perform department specific ultrasound procedures, begin/end exams in EPIC, and retrieve and view images in PACS. Requirements: * Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) * Currently enrolled in an accredited or approved program in Sonography * Completion of a minimum of twelve (12) months training in an accredited program in Sonography * Clinical competency in abdominal, pelvic, and routine vascular exams performed by the ultrasound department.
