Department: LPH Medical Unit
FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Nights
Pay: $38.91 - $60.31 / hour, based on relevant experience
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience.
- Registered Nurse (RN) state licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- At least 1 year nursing experience. Must promote to Charge Nurse III within 3 years of being promoted to Charge Nurse as per UEXCEL Bylaws.
- PALS and ACLS certifications are required within 90 days of hire.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, valid through at least sixty days after hire.

Acute Care Responsibilities:
- Direct patient care responsibilities in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units managing moderate to high patient acuity.
- Incorporating AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards into evidence-based care.
