Charge Nurse - PRN

We are seeking a dedicated charge nurse who is passionate about providing top-quality care to our residents and patients. As a charge nurse at our skilled nursing facility, you will lead a team of caregivers and ensure the well-being of those we serve. Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing nursing aides and support staff
  • Providing direct nursing care to residents and monitoring their conditions
  • Updating care plans and notifying medical professionals of any changes in residents' health
  • Completing administrative tasks such as documentation and supply ordering
  • Handling resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Performing emergency procedures and communicating with families and other parties as necessary

Requirements:

  • Minimum of six months experience in a healthcare setting
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a registered nurse (RN) degree
  • Current RN license and CPR certification in the state of Tennessee
  • Ability to work flexible hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and travel as needed

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervising support staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
