Engineers, SDET located in Bellevue, WA will understand all the business/functional requirements for automation test plan. Ensure requirements and/or user stories are testable. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Clarify any ambiguity with requirements, user stories, design and other artifacts produced as part of the product lifecycle. Provide estimates for user stories and tasks. Coordinate, develop and maintain all test activities. Manage defects. Act as a liaison with end-to-end test execution team. (Context of Domain Team only). Write and execute automated and manual tests as needed to provide an ongoing measure of the quality of the product. Analyze code coverage using industry standard tools such as SonarQube. Ensure automated tests are integrated into the Continuous Delivery Pipeline. Design, develop, and maintain automation systems and tools to be used by development and test engineers. Assist in designing test cases for unit, functional, performance, scalability, and durability testing (where applicable). Manage and groom the automated and manual test suites regularly to ensure proper balance between coverage and fast feedback cycles. Work with IT partner teams to provide test data by request, creation or modification for all phases of the delivery process via a repeatable and automated process. Grow and maintain technical skills and expertise through continuing education and training. Closely coordinate with both Dev and Ops regarding testing practices and ensuring quality thresholds are met. Contribute to Design and Design Reviews. Contribute to code review. Position reports to headquarters at 12920 SE 38th Street, Bellevue, Washington, 98006.Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time. Skill requirements: (1) Utilizing RestAssured automated test tool to support testing of back office microservices for Home Internet Devices backend services. (2) Performing test execution of the front end and backend applications by developing test scripts using programming and scripting languages such as JavaTestNG and maven. (3) Creating branches, merge requests, and generating build deployments using GitLab, Jenkins and Bitbucket DevOps tools. (4) Utilizing Jira, Rally, qTest, Test Rail, HP ALM and RQM Test Management tools to maintain manual and automated test coverage. (5) Using Industry standard automation tools like SauceLabs, Selenium and Appium to write remote Web Browser and Mobile Applications Tests. (6) Developing Selenium and Appium page objects, client objects, and test scripts using Eclipse and IntelliJ Integrated development environment to maintain the test framework and ensure test execution is successful. Experience and education requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science, or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer and Information Science, or related, and 1 year of relevant work experience.
