Aurora hires talented people with diverse backgrounds who are ready to help build a transportation ecosystem that will make our roads safer, get crucial goods where they need to go, and make mobility more efficient and accessible for all. We're searching for a Summer 2025 Hardware Engineering Intern. The HPE SIEMC team is responsible for Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, EMC design and testing for all Aurora products. Our team works to harden the design so it can withstand intense automotive stressors and we work towards generating a more manufacturable design that is able to scale to higher volumes.
In this role, you will:
- Complete an impactful internship project aligned with Aurora's current priorities and product vision
- Work with a dedicated Mentor for project guidance and coaching, and collaborate closely with other full-time team members
- Learn more about Aurora, connect with other Interns and employees, and develop new skills through events and programming
- BS, MS or PHD student in Electrical Engineering
- Solid fundamentals on EM or transmission Line theory
- Good knowledge of circuit design, simulation or signal spectrum
- Knowledge of Signal Integrity concept and experienced with simulation tools, such as HFSS, ADS or allegro PCB design tool
- Hands on experience on Labl equipment, VNA and Oscilloscope
Hourly Rate
The base hourly pay rate for this internship is as follows:
$52.00 per hour for interns pursuing an undergraduate degree;
$57.00 per hour for interns pursuing a master's degree; and
$65.00 per hour for interns pursuing a doctoral degree.
Interns must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship. Aurora does not offer J-1 visa sponsorship for interns.
