This position is flexible and is open to full-time or part-time scheduling.

Who we're looking for?

Northgate Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time/ part time veterinary assistant to join our collaborative hospital team. To uphold our positive hospital culture and ensure new team members nicely with our close-knit team, we're looking for highly skilled technicians who prioritize teamwork, are easygoing and detail-oriented, and have a well-rounded technical skill set. Our ideal team member should have the following skill sets to work well with our team:

  • Experience with Anesthesia induction and monitoring
  • Experience with dental cleanings and dental radiographs
  • Exceptional work ethic and dedication to high quality work
  • Vaccine and medication administration
  • Assistance with surgery prep and clean-up
  • Pharmacy duties, lab work, and drug calculations
  • Client communication and education
  • Checking Clients in/out
  • Managing a multi-line phone system
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Assisting throughout the hospital as needed (front desk, kennels, cleaning, etc.)

Northgate Animal Hospital is located in Dayton, Ohio.
