Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for an Echo Technologist to work onsite in Clovis.

Shift: 10 hour days

Role Summary:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers. Good motivational and organizational skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to analyze and synthesize data. Ability to calculate, manipulate, and interpret numbers. Problem solving, critical thinking, and reasoning skills necessary.
Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Performs echocardiograms. Responsible for daily operations of the department including patient care, team communications and documentation.
  • Ensures that all necessary supplies/equipment are available and remains adequately trained in current technology.
  • Maintains equipment in the proper working order.
  • Follows departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participates in the operations of the department, to include interviewing, orientation, education, competency, scheduling and performance improvements.
Required skills and minimum years of experience:
  • Min 3 years exp in an acute hospital setting.
  • RDCS.
  • Certified with active AHA BLS.
Equipment utilized in the unit/department:
  • Canon i700 and i900
Must be competent to proficient in:
  • Adult and Pediatric Echo to include 2D-Mode, Doppler CW &PW, Valvular disease studies, color flow mapping, cardiomyopathies, congenitalheart disease, pericardial disease, effusions 2D & 3D Hypertensive heart disease studies.
