We’re expanding our Access Egress Hardware Team, seeking to a hire a Firmware Engineer II to join us on this journey. What you will be doing Next-Gen Technology: As an embedded software/firmware developer you will be working on next-generation Digital door Lock products developing embedded firmware applications in BLE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, and other network technologies. Collaborative Culture and Environment: You will work with internal and/or contract firmware developers and architect involved in design and system architecture discussions, hardware analysis, and application design. Collaborate with the hardware team during design, development, and integration. Programming: Programming and debugging the code, writing automated unit test scripts on features developed/integrated, working with co-developers in code review, code optimization, power management, etc. Continuous Learning: Participate in code review process, unit testing, feature integration work, and assist team workers with best coding techniques in building best embedded firmware applications. What we are looking for BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Must hold 3+ years of work experience in an embedded environment. Proficiency with C, RTOS, Git, and Jira. Experience in design, development, and testing of complex, multi-threaded embedded IoT applications, and communication protocols via I2c, SPI, UART, and others. Specializing in optimizations for code size, execution speed, memory usage, task scheduler and interrupt controlling, exception handling, and power management. Can complete tasks independently.
