Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and development of therapeutic retraining programs for patients
  • Collaboration with the patient's physician and health care team members
  • Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction to improve and restore patient function
  • Design community reintegration activities and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
  • Recommend and design special adaptive equipment for clients
  • Accurate and thorough documentation of patients' care observations and interventions

Requirements:

  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
  • Minimum of six months of occupational therapy experience preferred
  • Home Health experience required
  • Current and unrestricted OT licensure
  • Current CPR certification
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required
