How You'll Perform the Role

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for staging the warehouse floor, managing inventory counts, forecasting, receiving of goods and planning shipments.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the implementation of warehouse procedures and processes.
• Responsible for the supervision of receiving, shipping, and warehouse employees.
• Responsible for ensuring that all employees are adhering to all safety protocols and wearing appropriate approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Responsible for ensuring that all housekeeping requirements are being implemented and practiced.
• Responsible for the coordination and facilitation of receiving and shipping of finished goods, raw material, and other miscellaneous items.
• Responsible for the accurate and safe placement of incoming trucks.
• Accurate forecasting of shipping and warehouse activities.
• Responsible for the completion of inventory counts, weekly zone audits and timely reaction to issues.
• Responsible for ensuring that assigned employees have been properly trained and aware of their role and responsibilities.
• Responsible for effective communication with production, maintenance, and scheduling for the purpose of effective receiving and shipping coordination.
• Attend monthly safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Need From You

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• College degree preferred.
• 5-10+ years operations/warehouse supervision within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Computer and math skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook, SAP
• Excellent communication skills
• A good self-starter
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail oriented
