Daycare Teacher Aide at Recovering Hope Treatment Center

Location: Mora, MN

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with Saturday Rotation Schedule
Pay: $15.00 - $20 per hour ($1 shift differential for weekend shifts)

The Teacher's Aide is responsible for the care and education of the children in the daycare center. The Teacher's Aide implements a curriculum developed for assigned classroom(s) and program area(s), and observes, assesses and documents each child's growth and development.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and monitor children individually and as a group at all times.
  • Assist in the implementation of educational activities based on curriculum.
  • Assist children with routines including meals and personal care, as appropriate to the age and development of each child.
  • Ensure the classroom is safe.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information of each child, family and employees.
Qualifications:
  • At least18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or GED.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent communication, reaching, repetitive tasks, and mobility.
  • Ability to lift children up to 60 lbs. from floor to waist height.
