Seasonal Medical Surgical Float Pool Nurse

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Regularly evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient responses to treatment.
- Administer medications and complete treatments following hospital policies.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care and support to patients and their families.
- Facilitate discharge planning in collaboration with the care team.
- Educate patients and families on care procedures and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact License (Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; NIHSS certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
