Join our team and make a difference We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Care Manager to work in our inpatient psychiatry unit. As a member of the patient care team, you will be responsible for conducting utilization reviews, securing insurance authorizations, providing clinical social work services, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Securing insurance authorizations
  • Conducting comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments
  • Developing and implementing care/discharge plans
  • Providing direct patient care including therapy, case management, crisis intervention, and counseling
  • Referring patients to appropriate levels of care and available resources
  • Maintaining timely patient-centered documentation
  • Participating in administrative and development activities

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Active LCSW required
  • Two years of behavioral health utilization review experience
