A reputable hospitalist practice has an opening for an experienced Hospitalist Physician to join their team in Northwest Michigan on the coast of Lake Michigan. The position is for day shifts.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Generous salary based on experience
- Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits

- Long and short-term disability
- 401K with match
- Paid medical malpractice and tail coverage
- Annual CME allowance
- Closely knit, established team of two advanced practice providers, with the support of a System Medical Director and a discharge planner nurse
- 25-bed hospital
- Practice independently in an observation unit. As there is a lack of specialty support at this site, patients are typically lower acuity
- Great relationship with the ED providers and local orthopedic and general surgical groups
- Work 12-hour shifts. They do not work a strict seven-on-off schedule but work as a team to arrive at a schedule that works well for both providers while still meeting the contracted number of shifts
- Cerner Powerchart for EMR
- 1+ Years of experience as a Hospitalist Physician Assistant
