Clinical Advancement Nurse

  • Provide clinical leadership to nursing and technician staff and ensure that staff adherence to Hospital and departmental policies and procedures
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and their families
  • Assign nursing personnel and staff to specific patients based on independent judgment
  • Designate shift and schedule assignments, assign duties, and monitor attendance
  • Supervise employees and monitor patient care delivery
  • Act as a clinical resource and role model for department personnel
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans and discharge planning

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program
  • 2 years directly related experience
  • Current RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
  • CPR certification

*Bonus points for fluency in Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo

Physical Requirements:

  • Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people.

Working Conditions:

  • Subject to an annual contract and performance appraisal
  • May handle hazardous materials and chemicals
