Austill's Educational Services, the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, seeks a pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work with school age children for 3 days per week in an art-focused program. A unique opportunity - this position could also be ideal for an Art Therapist or artist with a passion for working with children Additional opportunities to work with preschool children in the area to add to your workload, if desired.

Responsibilities of the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant:

Provide direct therapy to students from preschool to grade 12.
Consult with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom participation and maximize the students potential.
Fulfill documentation requirements, including data collection, progress updates for marking periods, and yearly IEP revisions with updated goals and treatment strategies.
Attend IEP meetings as recommended.
Travel may be required throughout the school day.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited OTA educational program.
Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Assistant License
Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
