Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose communication disorders through thorough evaluations
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans specific to each patient's needs
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients, using evidence-based techniques
  • Monitor and evaluate progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies for improving communication and swallowing skills
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress


License or Certification:
Must be in possession of current SLP certificate on or before the first day of employment.
CPR certification, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver License
Education, Training and Experience:

Minimum requirement: Associate degree in and/or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program.
Experience is preferred but not required.
