White Elephant Palm Beach is hiring for the full-time, year-round position of Public Area Attendant to clean all public/grounds areas of the hotel, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Stock cleaning closets/buckets with designated supplies and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of closets; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep and wax floor; remove non-floor closet items and transport to proper storage areas
  • Ensure that nothing is stored in stairwells
  • Transport any food and beverage trays/items in public areas to service areas
  • Inspect condition of all furniture for tears, rips and stains and report damages to Supervisor. Dust and polish all woodwork
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
  • Handle reasonable guests complaints/requests and inform others when required
  • Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
Skills:
  • Proven working experience in relevant field
  • Ability to work independently and remain motivated
  • Helpful with customer service orientation
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
