Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
Reporting To: Upper Elementary 4-6 Principal
Start Date: August 14, 2024
Job Responsibilities
Student Support Aide: 8:00-11:00 a.m.
- Assist student support services in overseeing students in classes and in test and homework completion
- Create and implement student accommodation plans within curriculum domains
- Establish positive rapport with students and staff
- Engage as a member of a collaborative team to promote student learning
- Other duties as assigned
Cafeteria Aide: 11:00 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
- Supervise Grade 4-6 students during their lunch period.
- Ensure that students are following rules and procedures
- Communicate with teachers and parents when issues arise
Qualifications
- 4 Year College Degree or working toward one
- ODE Educational Aide Permit
- Experience working with children
- Friendly and flexible demeanor
- Ability to hold students accountable to CHCA standards of behavior
- Comfortable working in a multi-denominational Christian community
- Able to integrate faith and learning
