The Warehouse Driver is responsible for accurately and safely delivering products to customers and may assist at the jobber desk or in the store as needed. This may include checking in freight and non-application parts, mixing paint, processing customer returns, resolving customer concerns, assisting counter customers and taking phone calls. Additionally, the individual in this role is responsible for assisting with maintaining the store appearance, security, safety and daily operational standards, as set by the manager.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Ensure accurate, safe and timely delivery and pick-up of products
  • Complete paperwork accurately and on time
  • Maintain the company vehicle by periodic washing, keeping the interior clean and organized and by checking engine fluid levels as required
  • Assist with phone inquiries
  • Resolve customer concerns or complaints
  • Ensure that customers receive world-class service in having their needs met by Auto Value
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Must understand and abide by federal and state driving rules, practices and procedures and have familiarity with the territory for the position
  • Automotive Parts knowledge or sales experience preferred; training is available
  • Familiar with store operating procedures preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, and verbal and written communication skills
