A leading healthcare organization is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist II to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in state-of-art facilities and use cutting-edge technology to provide top-notch care to patients.

  • Perform various diagnostic nuclear medicine examinations, including complex Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography (PET/CT) procedures
  • Operate stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment while ensuring that all tasks are completed within established time frames
  • Prepare for and assist physicians during invasive procedures and educate patients on the procedure and associated effects
  • Oversee, mentor, and teach students and new technologists to help them gain confidence in their skills
  • Perform general clerical tasks, such as answering phones, updating appointments, and documenting exam charges and patient records

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-NM) or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills
  • General knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Prior experience responding to traumas and various hospital emergencies
