Key Responsibilities for a CT / Rad Tech:
- Perform high-quality CT and radiographic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and technique for optimal image quality.
- Operate and maintain CT and radiographic equipment, ensuring safety and functionality.
- Explain procedures to patients, addressing any questions or concerns with empathy.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret images.
- Maintain precise and detailed patient records in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment.
- ARRT certification in Radiology (ARRT (R)) and Computed Tomography (ARRT (CT)) (Required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required).
- Texas Department of State Health Services certification (Required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred .
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
