Physical Therapist

Lake Granbury Medical Center's Inpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and assessing needs of patients and formulating treatment plans. Provides therapy services defined in treatment plans. The physical therapist is expected to work cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare staff. Physical Therapists may supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and athletic trainers. They are to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Physical Therapists perform a variety of tasks; a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. They report to the Therapy Director.
Education: Requires a Bachelors, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Licenses/Certifications: Certified as a physical therapist in state of Texas. American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS is required (obtainable upon hire at facility)
Experience: Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Will work in an in-patient setting.
