Patient Care Coordinator

Positions in this function are responsible for checking in, scheduling appointments, answering billing questions and managing patient medical records for a clinic. Roles may vary based on the size of the clinic(s).
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Location: 7600 Evergreen Way, Everett, WA; role will become hybrid following training
Primary Responsibilities:
- Applies knowledge/skills to activities that often vary from day to day
- Demonstrates a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function
- Requires little assistance with standard and non-standard requests
- Solves routine problems on own
- Works with supervisor to solve more complex problems
- Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines
- Works with others as part of a team
- Assist physicians, as required in coordination of care for patients
- Works collaboratively with Centralized Services to support patient needs
- Establish and maintain relationships with service providers for patient's coordination of care
- Ensures work is being performed according to company policies, procedures, and standards
- Provides high quality care and service excellence to our patients
- Performs other administrative and clerical duties as assigned
- Participates in a variety of department initiatives
- Ensures all OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulations are followed
- Follows proper reporting protocols for any compliance or incident reporting as needed
- Maintains strict patient and employee confidentiality
- Other duties and responsibilities, not specifically described, maybe defined, or assigned from time to time, consistent with knowledge, skills and abilities of the incumbent by management

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ year(s) of medical front desk experience
- 1+ year(s) of Microsoft Office experience
- Experience with data analysis software
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of electronic medical record experience
- 1+ years of health plan insurance knowledge
Washington Residents Only: The hourly range for Washington residents is $16.54 to $32.55 per hour . Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable .
