This position is for an experienced Mechanical Engineer licensed in the State of Wisconsin (or with the ability to be licensed in the State of Wisconsin within 1-2 months.) This position will serve as a local mechanical group lead and will report to the Mechanical Discipline Lead located in Iowa City, IA.

Our Mechanical group operates as both a standalone design team - performing 'one-off' mechanical design projects or paired with the Electrical/Technology group - creating MEPT (mechanical-electrical-plumbing-technology) documents. In this role you will work with other disciplines - electrical, structural, and civil - to complete wholistic designs that comprise full-service efforts when paired with architectural partners or subcontractors. Daily external collaboration with these partners will be required as well as daily internal collaboration with in-house teams. This is done both in person and virtually. Formal and informal design meetings, page-turns, BIM model integration, and construction site visits will all be parts of the job.
