Senior Software Engineer

We have a wonderful opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join our client.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $65 - $80 / hr. w2
Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer:
- Develop and maintain software to ingest, process and store telemetry data.
- Develop and maintain user facing software that is used to launch rockets and perform on-orbit operations for spacecraft.
- Perform independent engineering as allocated and may have product ownership as a responsible engineer.
- Develop documentation for operation of software products.
- Coordinate with stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, OR equivalent years of experience (9+ years of total work experience)
- Experience in Golang Development
