Overview

Position Summary: The Cardiac Catheter Tech is responsible for equipment operation, quality assurance, performing radiographic test. Sets up and assists with cardiac catheterization procedures. Responsible for inventory of equipment and supplies for the cath lab. Maintains statistical and financial data for the cath lab. Assures lab is appropriately staffed by technologists including evening and weekends. Collaborates with other health care team members in the delivery of health care. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to a patient and family-focused model of care.

Minimum Qualifications: Pediatric experience required. One year cardiac catheterization experience required or must have a BS Degree in Radiology Technology with two year's experience

Education/Licensure/Certifications: Graduation from an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology education program. American Heart Association BLS certification and ARRT certification & CRT certification with CA State Dept. of Health, Fluoroscopy Permit with CA State Dept. of Health.

Hours: Mon - Fri 6:00am-5:30pm with rotating call(includes week nights & weekends).

Pay Scale Information

USD $80,288.00 - USD $138,496.80

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
