Job Description:
  • Operating Material Handling Equipment or being willing to learn.
  • Auditing inbound freight for accuracy and damages.
  • Maintaining discrepancy logs and collaborating with vendors.
  • Using RF units to scan barcodes and relocate shipments.
  • Following safety procedures and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Communicating with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Understanding quota requirements and maintaining 5S standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Able to operate Material Handling Equipment or willingness to learn
  • Audit inbound freight for accurate count, damages, and examine products to ensure damaged products are not used in assembly
  • Maintain discrepancy logs of each vendor and create scorecards for each
  • Work with inbound vendors to correct all discrepancies.
  • Maintain and distribute reports
  • Use RF (radio frequency) units to scan barcodes
  • Relocate incoming shipment to identified location
  • Follow safety procedures for equipment used to reduce potential for accidents
  • Use box cutters to cut packaging materials
  • Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Ability to lift products to proper staging location
  • Communicate with supervisors to resolve conflicts
  • Understand quota requirements to accomplish required production levels
  • Communicate with coworkers to share expertise
  • Maintain 5S standards to support safety and cleanliness
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.6 months Forklift Truck Experience (preferably stand-up forklift experienceRemain standing for an extended period of time up to 10 hours
  • Able to perform with constant movement of the arms
Preferred Skills
  • English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc...
  • Experience using SAP
  • Production and Processing - Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
  • Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Time Management - Managing one's own time.
  • Active Learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
  • Basic Math - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Spatial Orientation - The ability to know your location in relation to the environment or to know where other objects are in relation to you.
  • Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • Dynamic Strength - The ability to exert muscle force repeatedly or continuously over time. This involves muscular endurance and resistance to muscle fatigue.
  • Gross Body Coordination - The ability to coordinate the movement of your arms, legs, and torso together when the whole body is in motion.
  • Multi-limb Coordination - The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down.
