Summary:

Our client is seeking a Rock Load Foreman responsible for overseeing and managing key aspects of our production process. You will ensure that all operations within the factory are running smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Your role will involve close coordination with various teams to maintain optimal workflow and ensure timely completion of all tasks. This position is crucial in ensuring that the factory operates at maximum efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Rack Load Process and Team Management: Oversee the entire rack load process, ensuring that server racks are positioned, loaded, and secured accurately and efficiently. Manage a team of technicians, providing clear direction and ensuring that all tasks are completed according to data center standards.
  • Rack Positioning Management: Lead the strategic positioning of server racks within the data center, ensuring optimal space utilization, airflow, and accessibility. Work closely with other teams to ensure that rack positioning aligns with overall data center infrastructure requirements.
  • Electrical and Network Connections Coordination: Collaborate with the electrical and network teams to ensure that all necessary hookups and connections are in place and functional once racks are loaded. Ensure that all installations comply with data center safety and performance standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all rack load operations comply with data center safety regulations and industry best practices. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Team Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the rack load team, ensuring that all members are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties safely and effectively.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in data center operations, specifically in rack loading and server rack management. Previous experience leading teams in a data center environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including rack positioning, server installation, and related electrical and network connections.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to data center standards.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues related to rack load operations quickly and effectively, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous data center performance.
  • High level of attention to detail, particularly in ensuring that all racks are positioned and secured according to specifications and that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide clear instructions to team members.
