Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Job Duration: 6 Months Shift: Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Two years of full-time experience in clinical nuclear medicine technology preferred; One year experience in nuclear cardiology required. License: Nuclear Medicine Technologist California license required. Certifications: ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required; Basic Life Support certification required and must be maintained. Must-Have: Expertise in dealing with age-specific population. Job Description: - Perform usual hospital imaging procedures using analog and digital computers.- Prepare radiopharmaceuticals as required.- Demonstrate proficiency in nuclear cardiology.- Work independently and as part of a healthcare team.- Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.- Provide high-quality patient care and follow safety protocols.- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and procedures.- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.This position does not require on-call duty, weekend, or holiday shifts. Candidates must have completed a two-year ARRT nuclear medicine program and possess the required certifications and licenses.
