Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IVR Developer with expertise in Genesys Pure Cloud Development and a proven track record of successful cloud migrations. As a Senior IVR Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions to enhance our software systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based software solutions using Genesys Pure Cloud Development tools and frameworks.
  • Lead and actively participate in the migration process from Genesys Pure Connect (on-premise) to Genesys Pure Connect (cloud) platform, ensuring a seamless transition and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software architects, project managers, and quality assurance engineers, to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high code quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner, working closely with the support and operations teams to deliver efficient solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud development and continuously assess and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive experience in Genesys Pure Cloud Development, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles.
  • Proven experience in successfully migrating from Genesys Pure Connect (on-premise) to Genesys Pure Connect (cloud) platform.
  • Proficiency in Java and API development, with a deep understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with Cobol, DB2, and SQL, with the ability to work with legacy systems and databases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to Haves:
  • Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of software security principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
