The Wilner group has partnered with our client, a family-owned and operated ramp manufacturing and installation company that has a passion for helping those in need. Together we are searching for a Senior Design Engineer to join their team at their Valley Cottage, NY location. This is a full-time, on-site position with a compensation of $110k-$125k based on experience.

Requirements:
  • Conceptualize and Develop Design by bringing a radical thinking approach to design challenges and propose unconventional solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, supply chain, QA, marketing and manufacturing to integrate design concepts into a comprehensive product development plan.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including design specifications, reports, and drawings.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in Product Development or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Design Engineer with a focus on creative and innovative design solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in design software SOLIDWORKS and Autodesk.
  • Working knowledge of metal and plastics fabrication (i.e., welding, chemical and mechanical fastening).
  • Be comfortable using fabrication/prototyping equipment (Milling Machine, Bandsaw, Chop Saw, Welder, Power Tools).
