Seeking a BE/BC Pulmonologist/Critical Care to join our team in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Qualifications

  • Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonology Fellowship required
  • Board certified or Board eligible in Pulmonology required
  • State of MO State Licensure Board of Healing Arts Upon Hire required

MEDICAL SERVICES & SUPPORT:
  • Maximum of 7 days required call per month.
  • Remodeled pulmonary function lab with two body boxes, running five days per week.
  • Four-bed pulmonary sleep lab recently remodeled and equipped with the Vyaire Somnostar; re-accredited by the AASM in 2019.
  • Five Registered Polysomnographic Techs, plus additional support staff with an average of 20 years experience.
  • Interventional bronchoscopy equipment with ability to do the following: Diagnostic and Therapeutic Bronchoscopy, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) bronchoscopy, Veran Electromagnetic Navigation Bronchoscopy (ENB), Cryo/APC, Bronchial Thermoplasty, Bronchial valves and stent placement including Non-invasive Lung Volume Reduction procedures.
  • Bronchoscopy lab is staffed with endoscopy trained nurses and respiratory therapists to assist with procedures.
  • Intraoperative Pathology Specimen adequacy exams for EBUS.
