The Lead Field Case Manager and Employment Specialist reports to the Client Services Supervisor and supports the oversight and coordination of case management by other case managers. This position provides case management support, ensuring appropriate caseload management, service delivery, documentation, and compliance with established guidelines. Responsibilities include facilitating effective case management practices, assisting in the delivery and coordination of employment services, and supporting the overall quality of service delivery. The Lead Case Manager works with clients, case managers, and community partners to help clients achieve program goals. Programs may include but not limited to Reception and Placement (R&P), Matching Grant (MG), Preferred Communities (PC), and Refugee Support Services (RSS).

DUTIES
- Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate, trauma-informed case management.
- Oversee caseload distribution and service delivery in coordination with the Client Services Supervisor.
- Ensure timely client support and referrals as per program guidelines.
- Lead weekly case conferences to review case plans and client progress.
- Offer Intensive Case Management for vulnerable clients to especially vulnerable individuals, as applicable.
- Support arriving refugees, including airport pickups.
- Assist with housing, healthcare, school enrollment, social services, and employment.
- Provide employment services (job readiness, resume writing, interview prep, job placement).
- Monitor services to prevent duplication with other programs.
- Provide interpretation, transportation and accompaniment as needed.
- Ensure that refugees are being served in a linguistically and culturally appropriate manner within the community and provide education and advocacy when necessary.
- Help refugees integrate by offering cross-cultural information and community connections.
- Maintain regular contact with clients in accordance with program requirement timeframe.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and submit required reports.
- Collaborate with community partners and cultivate relationships with local service providers and employers.
- Ensure gender equity in services.
- Meet personal and organizational goals.
- Attend stakeholder meetings, identify community resources, and make referrals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a Social Work or behavioral/human services field or two years of experience providing case management and/or social services preferred.
- Experience working with refugees, immigrants, or limited English speakers, highly preferred.
- Experience leading teams and providing direction.
- Proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel and database programs.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, troubleshoot, and follow projects through with attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a team member and independently, with high level of self-motivation.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including keen listening ability and relationship building.
- Must have reliable transportation, clean driving record, and valid insurance and be able to travel locally as required.
- Cross-cultural or international experience preferred.
